Special Character
Syntax: SET LINEEND value
Default: [Alt] + [0254]
You can set an end of line ASCII character for NOTE and TEXT fields in forms, reports and the Data Browser. When you insert the character in those fields and then zoom in by pressing [SHIFT]+[F2] or print a report, you see lines break as established by the line end character. The default character is ASCII value 0254.
Note: If the line end character has been set to the currency character, R:BASE changes it to ASCII value 0254 when you connect to a database.
