The last option is whether or not to assign an Action from the Action List. As a general rule, you probably won't assign an action to a root level menu item unless it does not have any submenus assigned to it. Otherwise, whenever you press the root level menu item to access the submenu tree, the action will execute and prevent you from ever using the submenus. If you are placing a root level menu item simply to act as a button for a single action, you would assign the action here. In this example, you will assign No Action so that you can add submenus to the root level menu item for demonstration.
