Operating Condition
Syntax: SET INSERT ON/OFF
Default: ON
SET INSERT turns insert/overwrite on or off. Set INSERT on to use either the insert or overwrite mode. Pressing [Ins] when you have specified INSERT to be on toggles you between insert mode and overwrite mode. In insert mode, the cursor indicator is larger. Press the space bar to insert a space. Set INSERT off to use only the overwrite mode; the cursor indicator is smaller.
