To open the File Gateway module for importing data, click the 09 icon on the main menu bar. Once the File Gateway module initializes, select the Export tab.

On the Export tab, first choose the source of the data to export from the Select Table/View list. Then, choose the deisred export format from the Select Format list.

Next,, enter a destination file name in the File Name field. You can click the 0000002 icon to the right of the field to open a Browse dialog if you want to select an existing file to overwrite. Finally, use the optional WHERE builder to create a clause that exports only the data that you want.

Toggles whether or not the animated status dialog is visible during processing

NULL Values Export as Blank

Exports all NULL values as blank fields  


ð APPEND Data to Existing File

Appends the data output to an existing file  


ð Launch After Export

Launches the file created based on the current file associated program when the export is complete  
 

When you have provided the necessary criteria, press the Start button to continue.
