| 1. | Start Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

| 2. | Insert the R:BASE 7.1 for Windows CD into the CD-ROM drive. In most cases this will pop up the installer and all you will need to do is wait through an introductory start up installation screen.

| If the installer does not begin automatically, go to the Start Menu>Run. Type D:\Setup.Exe in the open text box. (Replace D with the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive.)

| 3. | Once you have read the introductory start up installation screen, you can click Next to begin the installation.

| 4. | Follow the instructions shown on your screen. A message is displayed when setup is complete.
