In the "Application Express" window, lay out the menus, submenus, and options.

The Parts of an Application (Pull-Down Menus)

To...	Do the following...
Place menu names	Click on the menu bar. Enter the name of the menu. To add another menu, Press [Enter] to move to the next menu position and enter the next menu name.
Place menu options	Click on a menu name to display its pull-down menu. Press [Tab], or click on the first line in the pull-down menu, and enter the name of an option. To add another option, press [Enter], and enter the name of the next option.
Add a pop-up submenu to a menu option	With the right mouse button, click on the menu option. Choose Add Pop-up Menu.
Add options to a pop-up menu	After you add the pop-up menu, enter the text for the first option. To add another option, press [Enter] and enter the next option name.
Return to the previous menu level	With the right mouse button, click on the pop-up menu and choose Return to Parent Menu.
Get back to a pop-up menu	With the right mouse button, click on the menu option that has a pop-up menu. Choose Go To Pop-up Menu.
Modify a name	Click on the name and enter the new text. You can also use the [Backspace] and [Delete] keys to modify text.
Insert a menu name	Click on a menu name and press [Enter]. A blank line for a new menu is inserted to the right. Enter the text for the menu name.
Insert a menu option	Click on a menu option and press [Enter]. A blank line is added below for a new option. Enter the text for the menu option.
Delete a menu name or option	With the right mouse button, click on the menu name or menu option, then choose Delete Menu Item.
Delete a pop-up menu for a menu option	With the right mouse button, click on the menu option, then choose Delete Pop-up Menu.
Move a menu name or option	Click on the menu name or option, and drag it to the new position.
Insert a line separator in a pull-down	With the right mouse button, click on a menu option and choose Separator. A line separator is added under the menu option.
