When you view the contents of a table in the Data Browser, you can save this data as a new table. The information is copied into a new table, which contains only the data that is displayed. For example, hidden columns are not displayed, so they are not included in the new table. The data is sorted in the same order as displayed.

Because the information is copied into a new table, it is no longer linked to the original table; if you add or edit data in the new table, these changes are not updated in the original table.

To save a table as a new table:

1. In the "Data Browser" window, choose File: Save Answer...
2. In the "Save Answer As" dialog box, enter the name of the new table.
3. Click the OK button.
