The Readme File

The README.TXT file provides late-breaking information about R:BASE 6.5++ that became available after the printing of the documentation. To read this file, double-click the "Readme" icon in the "R:BASE 6.5++" program group.

The Sample Database

A sample database, ConComp, is provided. You can open ConComp to see how another company sets up their database, forms, reports, labels, and applications. If you choose to install the sample database, the files are created automatically. The ConComp database will be listed in the Object Manager when you click on the Databases tab.

For information about opening a database, see "Opening and Closing a Database" in the Databases Section of the User Reference.
