If AUTOSYNC is set ON, connecting to a database will automatically synchronize the database files, if necessary.
If AUTOSYNC is set OFF and an error occurs during the connect because the files are out of sync, the database is not connected. In this case you must use the RECOVER command to restore the database to a working status.
